Alfa Romeo 4C Concept Design - Alfa's Slick Return to the US

On any normal sunny day, as far as my own personal tastes in cars go, I really don't pay attention to cars that have small engines, sound like go carts or are made for people who must be under 3 feet tall, but today I think that a conversion may be coming. You see, small hatches, hatchback cars or small coupes never really clicked for me. Growing up in the 90s those cars were associated with... well, people who might have some self-esteem issues but today, I've got to say that my interest has been tickled already by the new BMW 1M, but is certainly much more captured by the Alfa Romeo's new 4C concept. Alfa Romeo has always made cars with stunning lines and aptly placed design cues but I must say that the 4C may be one of the most beautiful cars in the world.

Traditionally, I would limit my list of good looking cars to Ferraris, Aston martins, Jaguars and Mercedes Benz, but hearing those names in the same group over the past few decades is getting old - Alfa Romeo is capturing a new taste of style that is also appetizing to a different market; the practical, car enthusiast driver that isn't wealthy enough to afford a Ferrari. You see, this car isn't a Prius with a facelift that will get you to 60 mph by the time you retire. Alfa's 4C is powerful little rocket that will have 232 horsepower coming from a 1.7 liter turbocharged engine. Getting from 0 to 60 mph will take less than 5 seconds and the little Alfa will be able to hit a top speed over 155 mph. We're talking BMW 3 and Lexus IS figures here.

So why would I even bother to post about a car that fits into a segment that I have never had any interest in? Well, it's quite simple, Alfa Romeo plans to use the 4C as their model to re-enter the US automotive market. How exciting is that? For years I've skimmed over any Alfa developments, envious of the fact that we don't have Alfas in the states, but now I find it exciting to know that such a well designed and powerful car will be coming from Italy to the US in as little time as 1 or 2 years. The 4C model is still in the concept stage but has been confirmed for production. I look forward to seeing more details about Alfa's comeback to the US market as we approach the end of the year.

Classic Designs - Foose Wheels For Your Car

There is no match in quality to Foose Wheels. They are known for their striking designs and use of the highest quality materials. Car enthusiasts of all types will desire these wheels above all others. Let's check out some of the qualities that make Foose wheels truly stand alone.

Each wheel is inspired by the designs of the classics. There are two broad categories of originals and classics. The originals are striking, straightforward designs for the most beautiful of cars. The classics follow the designs of classic roadsters and hot rods. In addition, the hottest in new wheels are available for your current vehicle.

The originals and classics come in multi-piece, two, and one piece wheels. The multi-piece wheels come divided into two or three piece designs, bolting in the center. The two piece wheels have a center welded to the rim and are available in a polished aluminum finish. The one piece wheels have been cast and are available in multiple finishes from shiny metal to black oxide. The multi-piece designs are also available in polished, chrome, and custom finishes. The variety in designs creates the ultimate custom fit for any car.

Foose wheels can also be matched and painted to the color of your vehicle. Many owners have ordered wheels in colors that include hot pink, neon green, bright orange, and lemon yellow. All these choices depend on your taste and wallet. The range for customizing is expansive. For many, their car is their baby, an expression of their personality, not just a means of transportation.

All Foose wheels are available in numerous tire sizes. If you have any concerns, their website will direct you to the list of available tire sizes for each design. Whether you are looking for a match to your truck, SUV, or car, you will find a wheel that's right for you. When one is spoiled for choice, it would be difficult to not find your perfect match.

These wheels are the result of many years in the business of building hot rods and automotive design. Foose wheels are seen as the perfect pairing to creating beautiful cars. They are prized for their enhancement of a person's vehicle. It's hard to say if the wheels complete a beautiful car or if the beautiful car completes the wheels. Most would argue you can't separate one from the other once they've been matched so perfectly.

If you attend a car show you can see the vast range of cars that can sit atop these wheels. They can be seen on modern vehicles, concept and award winning cars, and vintage roadsters. The wheels may not be the first thing to grab your attention, but once they do, it is undeniable that the pairing is like that of a good wine and a great meal. Once they are together, you can't imagine it any other way.

Concept of Toyota's Car Design

Toyota car design is striking and impressive making a strong presence on road. The cars designed are incredibly stylish to entice car buyers across the stretches. The car manufacturer adopts the philosophy of safety, environment, and social values when designing a car. With an aim to convey social considerations, background concept, and originalities through the design process, Toyota lays focus on its valuable philosophy.

The essentials of Toyota's design process are as follows:

J-Factor

J-factor is known to be the DNA of Toyota design that synergizes various conflicting elements in harmony and give dimensions to new values. It is the element that defines the Japanese design structure, aesthetics and values that blend seamlessly with the global standards. One very good example of synergizing the contradictory element is the combination of engine power and electric motor to create hybrid vehicles. Likewise, many other elements of a car are well harmonized to give a completely new look and feel to every car. The j-factor is the trademark of Toyota's car design and it delivers an extremely striking and magnificent appeal.

Miniaturization

Miniaturization is another good philosophy of Toyota's car design process. In this is embedded the intense art of Japanese craftsmanship that gives a deep insight to the complete universe in a small container. This means that even the smallest car by Toyota beholds a number of excellent features, technologies, and design concepts to keep the excitement alive on every drive. All the premium features along with ultra-high efficiency package of engine and transmission offers a sense of infinity. This concept is accepted and acclaimed worldwide as Japanese sensitivity.

Nature's Beauty

Nature's beauty is one most appreciating aspect of Toyota's design philosophy. The car manufacturer always moves in line with the nature's beauty and love. Japan follows the trend of infusing nature in craftsmanship and likewise the car manufacturer also adopts the same trend. Through unique way of conception, Toyota has been incorporating the beauty and love they behold for nature in their artistry method of car designing. A very good example of nature's love reflected through Toyota's car is the dashboard of the highly acclaimed car Pirus. The dashboard is much similar to the design or pattern found in the veins of a leaf and the resulting design is outstanding with a fresh and eternal feel. The energy of the nature is beautifully blended with the science of designing to give an eternally beautiful car design structure.

Vinyl Car Stickers

Car stickers are one of the fastest and most affordable ways to transform your ordinary vehicle into one that turns heads. There are several different types of car stickers and car wraps available but the vinyl ones are by far the most popular and for good reason. There are many benefits associated with vinyl stickers such as the ones discussed below.

These stickers are computer cut for precision from a vinyl material with an adhesive backing. This material is extremely durable and can be purchased in three different finishes, which are gloss, semi-gloss and matte. The design can be either transparent or solid and you can choose from one of the designs already made or create your own. Even when you choose a design from something in stock, you can still use it in a variety of different ways to make your overall design unique from any other.

Vinyl stickers are very bright and colorful. They're easier enough for most any do-it-yourselfer to install and they're inspiring enough to make them one of the best marketing tools you'll ever find. Vinyl car stickers range in a variety of sizes from the very small to car wraps, which are designs large enough to cover the whole vehicle. The vinyl material used for these car stickers are amazing and designed in such a way that they can be installed on any smooth surface without difficulty.

The designs, lettering, strips or whatever you choose to dress up your vehicle with are made from the highest quality material you can find so you know they're durable. The smooth edges will blend right in with the paint when applied making it difficult to see. This technology looks so natural that it can easily be mistaken for a professional custom paint job.

Design Car Sticker

Although there are a number of drawing programs out there. I think Autocad is one of the best for designing car stickers. One of the obvious reasons is that Autocad is a vector program and vector files are required by plotters to cut the sticker.

A vector file is a computer drawing that has been produced by vector. A vector is an engineering term that means a line of force and direction. Because computers are mathematical machines tit is easy for them to create lines and shapes. A raster file is an image file that is made up of a series of dots and these type files such as Photoshop will not work in a plotter.

There are other reasons for using Autocad for your car sticker design it is simply easier to use. There is definitely a learning curve attached to it and it will be impossible to be adept at the whole program in a weekend, but a person probably could get good at some of the elementary commands in a short time.

For drawing car stickers,Autocad is better than some of the other vector drawing programs such as Coreldraw and Illustrator in a number of areas. One of those areas are basic drawing or sketching. It will be possible to duplicate most of what Autocad does in those other programs but it can be a lot more tedious. Autocad does a better job of understanding the artists intent so that when the person using it is doing some editing it is very easy. Autocad can be a lot more precise than the other programs as well, you can tell issue commands with coordinates instead of dragging a shape and then editing it in the other programs.

There is one area where the other programs are better than Autocad and that is anything involving text. Those programs are very creative when it comes to manipulating text. Another area they shine is with color. Autocad can do some very basic things with color but it can't do shadows or gradients and it does not have the palette available that Coreldraw or Illustrator does and certainly does not have the features such as creating a custom palette.

No Matter Size Hollywood Spotlight?

No Matter Size Hollywood Spotlight?
The stars may be overweight, and one aspect of success obsessed with Hollywood?

For a long time, the answer is no.

But lately, plus-size performers are confounding the conventional wisdom, not just a job, but landing the lead roles and price suppression.

Melissa McCarthy, Mike & Molly's CBS sitcom is a good example. McCarthy, 41, is a recent achievement Emmy for his work on the show, and two weeks ago, he hosted Saturday Night Live rave reviews. All this is on a standout performance in the blockbuster summer bridesmaids.

And today marks the debut of MTV's new reality show, Chelsea is deposited around 24 years old who weighs 325 pounds in Pennsylvania and moved to Los Angeles to try to make the fashion industry.

"It was really important for me to do the show because I had these dreams to work in fashion," explains the rules. "However, obese or morbidly obese prevented me from believing that I can continue a career because I do not think anyone would take me seriously. "

Does anyone? Tinsel Town is attitudes on weight really change?
weight really change

"Three or four years, it was all about thin, thin, thin. And now we return to real women and it is considered just as beautiful, "said Melanie Bromley, West Coast Bureau Chief of Us Weekly magazine that covers the weight fluctuates regularly celebrities" because it's just that girls out there are interested in. "

Sherri Shepherd, 44, View co-host, who went 16-6 to miss the entire type 2 diabetes, agrees that the weight is always a hot topic. It is a delicate matter.

"They do not give older girls a chance," she said. "I think Hollywood has not caught up to real people. ... When I am heavy, photographers tend not to shoot so many years. When I lost that weight, so they took Photo. "

Editor says veteran Howard Bragman, "You have to look good."

Still tells young players: Your body is your message to the test, and today it is more difficult to hide, he's not perfect. "What has changed is now transparency in the world we live in," said Bragman. "If you're on the beach with your shirt, you can be sure that someone is going to be notified and your image." And it's online in minutes.

The gates are down

The definition of our culture of classical beauty are generally not included, plus size women. But pop culture seems to reflect reality more.

The list of major artists are significant: Oscar winner Kathy Bates (Harry Law). Emmy winner Loretta Devine (Grey's Anatomy is). Grammy Adele. Amber Riley (Glee). Sara Ramirez (Grey's Anatomy). Rosie O'Donnell.

"Barriers are breaking down because people are looking for archetypes that seem much more in the way America looks really," says public relations executive Michael Levine. "But the TV is in the transport device emotionally - brings us to a life of quiet desperation of our fairy tales and fantasy.

"It goes against major changes," he said. "So the dual forces of the way the world really is and how it can engage in a real fight."

Christina Hendricks, 36, who plays Joan Holloway on Mad Men Zaftigs, was known for her curves as much as his work with the show and said she was injured by the label of "big girl" in the media.

Behind the scenes at the Emmys, the Mad Men picked up the award for best drama, Hendricks was upset when a reporter pressed again his appearance. He said that solves the performance, and the series creator Matthew Weiner jumped to defend him. After all, he pointed out, no one says series star Jon Hamm, "Lift up your shirt and show us your abs."

Hendricks, however, also became a star in a show that is a set. This is no small thing. In addition, his film career took off - she's the star of the unit with Ryan Gosling and do not know how he does with Sarah Jessica Parker.

Attitudes are changing, said Josh Berman, executive producer of Drop Dead Diva, the Lifetime drama about a size 0 model in the grass dies and comes back into the body of a lawyer, as well as size. "You do not have to be perfect people, plastic, takes," says Berman. "It is up to other networks and studios to lure the most talented actors and not necessarily the Barbie and Ken dolls in the world."

Diva show concept might not have sold 10 years ago, he said, but the diversity of the media are now calling for creative people to be more realistic about the characters they create and present on the screen. "I immediately took advantage of a more open market for different types of older women."

Billy Gardell, 41, who plays Molly McCarthy heavy Mike says there is a place for everyone in Hollywood. He knows that the parties would never amateur action hero, even though they recently lost 25 pounds.

"You need a funny guy standing next to you? And 'the role for me," he says. "You guys are knock-down drag-out thing is what people want to see -.. Let the guy is a hero, but always the role of Everyman."

Jerry Ferrara, this role Turtle in Entourage on HBO. In six seasons he has been engaged in a fierce pack of guys in Hollywood. So over the last two years, he lost 60 pounds, to be quite another turtle, which engulfed the series running this summer.

Ferrara said Doug Ellin, the creator and writer main event, was injured. "We have seen each other for a month or two (and) said:" You could not wait another year? I did not even recognize you, "says Ferrara, 31 But it was worth it to start" healthy feeling, "he says.

Healthy, but still human
Healthy, but still human

Healthy. This is the new motto. The new defense. The new target.

Demi Lovato, 19, appeared at the MTV Video Music prices in August after a period of rehabilitation and the majority of weight-related derogatory comments on Twitter. "Guess what, I am healthy and happy, and if you hate my weight, you obviously do :.)," she tweeted.

Comedian Carlos Mencia, 43, who lost 70 pounds this year, knows that it could damage his career (he has a special December 4 Comedy Central), but it was the Epiphany, when a friend told him there are people old fat.

"As a comedian, it's better to be chubby," he says. "Visible defects you have, the easier it is to sit the same people and you can get away with it anymore. ... But I wanted to be in good health, I want to play ball with my children, show them how to play football and not just to show them the video of soccer players. "

Singer LeAnn Rimes, 29, said he felt the pressure of his weight because he was a child - criticized for being too fat, and then criticized for being too thin. Damned if you do, damned if you're in Hollywood, where all eyes are still in the body, he says.

"I do not know why people have an obsession with body image and way of thinking that celebrities are not human at the end of the day," he said. "As we will not change and go through situations that make us eat, not eat. I think people sometimes forget you're a human being."

But for people in Hollywood, your body is your work, and most of the hard work out Slinky silhouettes. Gwyneth Paltrow, who is 39 and had two children, who often work two hours a day, and Hugh Jackman, 42, hates to work, but do it because it's paid for.

Carrie Fisher. Kirstie Alley. Sara Rue. Valerie Bertinelli. Kelly Osbourne. Star Jones. Seth Rogen. Drew Carey. Raven-Symon. Queen Latifah. Jonah Hill. Even Snookie. All were once abundant, now they are much smaller.

Fisher, 54, says she was inspired to lose 50 pounds this year, a spokeswoman for Jenny Craig because she realized she could not wear something in her closet and she was much heavier than famous mother, actress Debbie Reynolds. "It got to the point that it was really humiliating to be a part bigger than your mother," she said.

Mo'Nique, 43, who won an Oscar in 2010, Precious, it was customary to say that bigger is better, but the doctor refused, he told Oprah Winfrey (who had his own well-documented and profits for more than one years). Now he has lost about 50 pounds and works five days a week to lose more weight.

When Jennifer Hudson won the Oscar for Dreamgirls, in 2007, he signed with Weight Watchers and shed 80 pounds. Last month, we respect the magazine cover car, talking about how he did it.

"It's like a whole new me," Winfrey said. "Sometimes I do not recognize."

Medvene celebrity stylist Linda, who specializes in clothing size and most famous designers worked with the Marquise de Gabourey Sidibe, 28, looks like a "fairy princess" with a navy blue dress from Marchesa Oscars 2010, says it can be heavy and success in Hollywood.

"During the day, very thin and emaciated are over," says Medven. "People are watching an actor, performance, and not their body."

Size 0 is simply "not realistic"

Moreover, the size 0 look is not for everyone, we are told Bromley Weekly, because it does not always look good and it's not very practical. "For a normal woman, you can not afford to have a coach every day, you can not afford to have your meal delivered to your home every morning," she said. "It is not realistic."

Ashley Koff, a registered dietitian and nutritionist to the stars of CW loosening of marriage, and the Lifetime set of love handles weight loss: couples in crisis, says it's really healthy. It 'has become fashionable now the stars are saying they have personal nutritionists and dieticians in addition to personal assistants, trainers, stylists and chefs.

"I see a growing awareness and strong interest in health, affecting all customers," he said. He used his celebrity client will never recognize her in public. "The other day I went into a celebrity party and the three ran to me, (saying)" Let me tell you about my colon "and" That girl saved my life. "Now that surprised me."

No wonder? Some stars are not willing to dish their struggles with the scale.

Asked whether losing the plus-size roles, now that he has lost much weight, Money Ball star Jonah Hill, 27, was depressed. "Some play with (in the sphere of money), not matter how big I was. You can only play people," he says.

Ask casting directors, despite the conventions of Hollywood on weight and changed his voice, the American Society of casting, declined comment.

The downward trend, as many very large companies artists of the decade of 1980 and Ricki Lake as Tracy Turnblad in the Roly-Poly original 1988, Hairspray.

Today, 23 years, many television roles, a stint as a talk-show presenter and many, many books later, the lake loses again as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars, which began as a dance, but the competition has become a weight loss program again.

"The magazines how are you images," said Bragman, who represents the lake. "When Ricki has lost weight every week, we made an offer. Everyone wanted to put on the cover, as these are best-selling business."

Dancing with less weight

Lake, 43, used 4-5 hours a day of work and practice DWTS and the result is that she lost 12 inches in size, Bragman said.

But that's nothing cnmpared to the 38 inches above the alley gosh obese has lost a step in the program. Now 60, the star weighed over 220 pounds, but she recently told reporters he had lost 100 pounds and is now a size 4.

So with all these stars excretion, are people like McCarthy and Margo Martindale (a veteran character actress won an Emmy last month to justify FX) just anomalies? Actor fully pursue a career as Sidibe without losing weight? (Then played a maid in the Ben Stiller / Eddie Murphy Heist Tourist Delete November 4)

Sidibe told Winfrey, was difficult to accept her body. "One day I had to sit with myself and I decided that I loved myself, no matter what my body looked like and what other people thought about my body," he said.

This is a question that you may be overweight, and successfully investigated by deposits. He knows, he criticizes his size, but he does not accept the hypothesis that all he has.

"The ideal number should be global, what you have and development and to make changes to live a long, happy, healthy life," says deposits. "We should, oh, we all need to be 2-dimensional."

There will always be the stars with fluctuating weight - is the bread and butter for celebrity magazines. However, Bromley said, "the day most girls who want to reach this figure is very thin, and it is thanks in part to pop culture and shows like Mad Men shows us you can be more beautiful or just beautiful with a few more pounds on your body. "
